About Dan Troxell
Born in western Pennsylvania, Dan Troxell found his passion for the piano at the tender age of four. It was quickly apparent to his parents and teachers that Dan was a blooming prodigy, so serious private study, conservatory and college music classes, and finally work with an artist-in-residence at the University of Southern California polished and perfected his classical music performance.
The ROMANTIC classics, however, most caught Dan's ear and inspired his work. In his performances of love songs, popular ballads and cherished standards you will hear echoes of Chopin, Beethoven, Mozart, and many more.
Dan comes from a family of eight, five of whom play the piano. In addition to music, Dan loves soaring (sky-sailing) and is an avid reader, gourmet cook and art collector.
He has performed for countless celebrities, presidents and heads of state from around the world, and is currently the resident pianist at the Center Club at the Center for Performing Arts in Orange County, California.
Dan's highly developed performance talent, combined with his artistic sense of sentiment and emotion, give these recordings a depth and beauty cherished by his fans around the world, and like them, you will want to collect them all. You and your friends will enjoy these beloved favorites, performed in a style that appeals to people of all ages. Whether by a warm fire, with a fine meal, or while enjoying a leisurely drive, the piano artistry of Dan Troxell makes the perfect companion.
