Reading "The Great Gatsby" by F. Scott Fitzgerald was a rite of passage for me in junior high school. The quality of writing and the incredible story were both entertaining and haunting. My generation has now enjoyed two marvelous film adaptations of this classic, and I was so moved by all of the above that I decided to create my own arrangements of songs and some original compositions that evoke that dreamy scene and timeless tale.

In life Gatsby was a realist, but in love he was an absolute idealist which was both his undoing and his greatest charm. It is generally believed that "The Great Gatsby", as well as other writings by Fitzgerald, are autobiographical... if so, he had quite a life.

Thank you for listening and sharing in the miracle that is music
