Forever

Forever is for everyone who has ever suspected that our hearts are timeless and our highest human quality, our ability to love, does last forever. It is for those who know every moment we are poised at a threshold, greeting each new day and feeling the endless grace of God's universe shining on us. I believe when our days here are over, our hearts and souls will keep stepping forward into that eternal beauty and endless tomorrow of divine being. If you are blessed with a partner to share your timeless moments with, I hope you will share this music with them. If you find yourself alone, then share it with a good friend, a timeless memory from the past, or perhaps the imagining of a new love.

 

Since our debut duets album, "Always", fans from around the country have expressed their pleasure in Mark Kershner's voice. People tell me, "He sings the way you play the piano," which explains why our sounds blend so well. To better appreciate Mark, you have to picture him in the studio: dressed in a faded denim jacket and jeans, his well-worn briefcase filled with tattered music sheets, charts and vintage songbooks sitting by his side. As he begins to sing, Mark just closes his eyes, bends his knees slightly, lifts his hands up and gets in the "zone" where he proceeds to connect with the music, open his heart and feel every word of every song.

 

"Forever" is my fiftieth album, a daunting task for a solo artist. I would like to thank all of the really great fans around the country who have helped make this possible and also a huge thanks to the amazingly dedicated and loyal shopkeepers who have been playing and selling my music over the years. You all have my eternal gratitude and I will be forever grateful.
